I have a problem any suggestions would be appreciated

this year will be my parents 50th wedding anniversary.

my mum is a jw my father is not.

my husband and i hade been df'd and i have 3 sisters.

I am thinking that it may be worth while paying for my parents to have a romantic dinner somewhere nice just the two of them on their anniversay and then hold an informal family gathering at the weekend. I sometimes think I am so close to the mess I can't think rationally.

Sounds like you have a good idea here. It's hard to think rationally when you are dealing with irrational people. Talk with your parents say you want to celebrate their marrage with family and freinds and want to include everyone in the planning but are afraid some will make things difficult. See if they have any sujestions on how to proceeded Since this is their day.

apologies if this has been discussed before, or is in the wrong forum, but i could really do with some advice.

two years ago i met the love of my life; someone i regard as my soulmate.

he is an active jw and i am a practising church of england person.

DO not go into the study with an open mind! You will be converted then when you find new facts or the light changes. You can never leave and If you do leave and have children he will do every thing to make them part of the group and to never have any thing to do with you. Coming from some one finally getting his family out after several years of suffering. You are only setting your self up for greef.

Sooo Armageddon comes....

so let's say armageddon comes,do you believe that all jw's would be destroyed because jehovah knows it's a false religion...it can't be denied,for the most part,they try to live by the bible...if anybody has to be punished i would say it's the leaders...i know that god wouldn't judge a whole organization but persons individually....so what i'm trying to ask is....do you think you're in a better position right now not for freedom but for salvation than the witnesses??

if by the time you're finished reading this post armageddon is here...would u wish that you still were a witness or are you satisfied that you've made god proud?.
